Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Policy
The Virginia Railway Express, (VRE), a transportation partnership of the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC) and the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC), is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination against socially and economically disadvantaged groups in conducting business, including the procurement of goods and services. The DBE program intends to provide contracting opportunities to small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. VRE recognizes its responsibilities to the communities in which it operates and to the society it serves and reaffirms that commitment through the operation of its DBE Program and Policy Statement.
