VRE posts delay information online daily. This information includes the total length of the delay, a brief description of the delay, and any FRC or other information that you may need. This information will be updated daily by 12:00 noon the following day.
Please note: Fredericksburg line trains are highlighted in RED. Manassas line trains are highlighted in BLUE. Delays are determined by the train’s arrival time at the final destination. Effective July 1, 2007: FRCs are handed out to passengers on the train once the train has reached 60 minutes of delay. Because trains can be delayed anywhere en route, the FRC policy will not apply to those who detrained before the delay reached the 60 minutes mark. The on-time performance for each line for the day will posted at the end.

Train 302 - delayed 12 minutes into Union Station due to freight train stopped north of VRE train yard for mandatory crew change.
Train 306 - delayed 17 minutes into Union Station due to freight train stopped north of VRE train yard for mandatory crew change.
Train 310 - delayed 12 minutes into Union Station due to freight train stopped north of VRE train yard for mandatory crew change.
Train 324 - delayed 7 minutes into Union Station due to following CSX freight into Crystal City.

Morning Service
Train 302 - delayed 60 minutes into Union Station due to mechanical problems at Alexandria. All riders detrained at Alexandria and used Metro Option (or other VRE trains) to reach their destinations.
Train 306 - delayed 15 minutes into Union Station due to train congestion in Alexandria.
Train 308 - delayed 6 minutes into Union Station due to passenger incident at Brooke.
Afternoon/Evening Service
Train 313 - delayed 11 minutes into Fredericksburg due to holding at Union Station to take Manassas Line passengers to Alexandria for transfer to VRE #337.
Train 327 - delayed 23 minutes into Broad Run due to passenger requiring EMS assistance at L'Enfant and holding for a signal at rail interlocking south of Alexandria.
Train 329 - delayed 13 minutes into Broad Run due to stopping south of Alexandria to reverse direction after being incorrectly routed to Fredericksburg.
Train 338 - terminated at Alexandria due to delays caused by late arriving equipment (#327) at Broad Run and holding in train yard for VRE #329.
